As many as 1861 personnel in Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police have benefited from 93 specialized training courses in the areas of planning and sketching of accidents and traffic basics, investigation and other traffic-related issues at the Traffic Institute Section, Al Ain. .
According to Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Mahri, acting head section of traffic Institute, the Institute provides comprehensive and specialized training programs in the framework of the training strategy of the Directorate, including the areas of planning and sketching of accidents, basic of traffic and patrols, and investigation of serious and simple traffic accidents, procedures and methods for stopping and searching vehicles and other training programs that are taught in the Institute.
Al Mahri said that training is a fundamental pillar of the traffic work, and that by providing traffic personnel with experience and skills required to meet all the challenges that result from the increasing traffic density, the expansion of urban area, and contribute effectively to maintain the required level of responsiveness, and deal effectively with all the challenges.
He noted that the Institute was provided with qualified trainers and all possibilities for discharging its functions. It also includes a number of training classrooms and library for references and studies, which provide a good cultural and studying environment which they can utilize in the development of scientific knowledge.
For his part Captain Awadh Mohammed Al Affari, Branch Manager for scholars Affairs said that the current training process output is a direct result of continuous coordination between the branches of the section.
