The Ministry of Interior has discussed means of enhancing cooperation and coordination, in addition to exchanging experiences with a number of government bodies and agencies in the field of benchmarking researches studies and researches.
A delegation from the Benchmarking Center in the Directorate General of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry of Interior had reviewed the best practices in the field of benchmarking, during a recent visit to the Emirates Competitiveness Council (ECC), the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), and the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA).
Lt. Colonel Mubarak Saeed Al Kaleeli, Head of the Center and head of the delegation, underscored the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to promote the role of strategic partners. He also emphasized the Center’s determination to sign a set of conventions with a number of local, regional and international bodies and services.
“The Benchmarking Center aims to empower the Ministry of Interior to conduct benchmarking through international-best practices. It also endeavors to promote the concept of benchmarking, and to implement it as one of the main factors of success, as well as to establish an international system and database,” he noted.
On the other hand, Dr. Robin Mann and George Rumen, reputed international benchmarking experts, lauded the efforts of the Benchmarking Center during a visit, where they were briefed on the best practices and activities applicable in this field.
