Major General Dr. Abdul Quddous Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police for the Quality and Excellence Affairs, delivered a lecture titled “Keys to Leadership and Excellence” at the Special Security Forces GHQ in the city of Al Dhaid. The lecture falls in line with the Special Security Forces’ commitment to spread the culture of knowledge and organizational excellence.
In his lecture, Major General Al Obaidly emphasized the need to establish a culture of excellence and spread it among all leaders as a public policy and a methodology to be adopted by the country and its leaders. He also cited to the UAE Ministry of Interior, which achieved top ranks among world countries in the Competitiveness Index for combating organized crimes. Furthermore, he tackled the quality system, excellence in performance and the means to achieving the objectives by using the best methods at less cost.
Major General Al Obaidly also highlighted the distinguished leader’s main characteristics, as well as the proper mechanism to establish performance indicators. He also acquainted attendees with the keys to leadership that reflect the Ministry of Interior’s directives, to ensure that the UAE remains an oasis of security and safety.
The lecture was attended by Colonel Staff Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Hajiri, Commander of the Special Security Forces; Colonel Staff Dr. Ali Salim Al Tunaiji, Deputy Commander of Special Security Forces; Colonel Sheikh Mohamed Abdullah Al Mualla, Director General of Total Quality at Dubai Police; along with department heads, Security Units commanders at the Special Security Forces GHQ, and a large number of officers the Special Security Forces General Headquarters.
