The Air Ambulance of the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department came to the rescue of three people who got injured in a car accident. The aircraft’s medical crew provided them with the necessary first aid to ensure the stability of their condition before transferring them to the Tawam hospital for treatment.

A 31-year-old Emirati woman, her 4-year-old daughter, and their 38-year-old Asian driver sustained injuries when their vehicle flipped over at Bukriya region, Al Ain city; at 10:45 yesterday morning.

Major Salah Abdullah Al Hamiri, Head of Al Ain Traffic Department noted that the vehicle carrying the injured was travelling from the East to the West, on the right lane, when it suddenly got out of control due to excessive speed and lack of attention, smashed into a lamp post and rolled over for a distance of 25 meters from the point of collision.

The woman was admitted to the intensive care unit and her daughter to the surgery department at Tawam hospital, while the driver was discharged after undergoing treatment.

Major Al Hamiri urged motorists to observe the specified speed limits, and drive cautiously, especially during rainy weather, wishing safety for everyone.
