“Abu Dhabi Traffic” distributes sweets to motorists
Traffic Patrols of ADP Directorate of Traffic and Patrols have distributed sweets, gifts and awareness publications to motorists for Eid Al Fitr.
Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed al Harthi, Director of ADP Directorate of Traffic and Patrols has congratulated the public on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr and urged them to boost the efforts made to curb traffic accidents and the resulting deaths and injuries.
He urged them within the framework of the campaign under the theme “Eid is a season of happiness…but traffic accidents cause sadness”, to comply with speed limits.
He also urged them to pay great attention to the road to avoid surprises, to fasten seat belts and to seat children below ten on the back seats of the vehicles.
He called on parents not to allow their children to play or cross roads without supervision.
