“MoI Medical Services” organizes an awareness campaign on diabetes in Sharjah
The Department of Medical Services at MoI has organized an awareness campaign about diabetes at Al Khazamiah Park in Sharjah as part of its participation in the national awareness campaign targeting all categories of age and nationality.
Major (Dr.) Maryam Al Naqbi, Director of Central Clinics Branch in Sharjah said “The campaign aims to disseminate health awareness among different segments of the community through early diagnosis and detection of all types of diabetes by use of advanced equipments”.
“MoI Medical department participates in such campaigns with a view of encouraging community members to benefit from these campaigns which enhances awareness’, added Al Naqbi.
“The campaign is not confined to presenting services and consultations to diabetics, but it seeks to spread awareness among healthy persons and the ideal means to remain healthy, adopt correct habits of eating to protect themselves from the disease, assist patients to live with the disease and avoid its complications.”
