The Directorate General of the Police Operations organized a workshop for staff of the Capital Police and the Traffic and Patrols Directorate. The workshop, held at the Capital Police auditorium, focused on field evaluation process of excellence awards, based on the European Foundation for Quality model.
Lt. ColonelAbdulwahab al Hosani, Head of Investigations at the Capital police Department, gave a lectureemphasizing the importance of qualifying Police Operations Directorate’s staff to participate in the various excellence awards through field meetings. Furthermore, he explained the assessment method, highlighting the prizes and the different categories and standards.
For his part, Expert Mahmoud Al Hayek, from the Office of the Director General of Police Operations in Abu Dhabi Police, focused in his lecture, on the standards of quality and excellence and how to apply them. He shed light on the performance indicators and outputs; as well as the methodologies used in the strategic performance measurement, which includes employees, processes, resources and partnerships.
The workshop was attended by heads of departments, police stationsand branches; as well as by representatives of the quality and excellence teams andliaison officers.
The workshop embodies the strategy of Abu Dhabi Police GHQ topromote the culture of quality and excellence among GHQ staff and employees of the various directorates and departments.
