The IT and Telecommunications Department at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters organized a workshop on high-speed data downloading over the TETRA Network at the Forensic Evidence Hall at ADP General Headquarters.

Upon attending the workshop, Colonel Anwar Abdullah Al Malla, Director of IT and Telecommunications Department, confirmed  that the department continuously seeks state-of-the-art technologies to advance police work.

He added that this sort of workshops helps develop ADP infrastructure, in partnership with different entities from all over the country, as well as strategic partners. He also pointed out that the TETRA network covers all UAE regions and is managed by specialized authorities. Four experts from “Kesidian” and groups of specialists from many government institutions and entities discussed future plans to apply the service of high-speed data download on TETRA Network.

Experts showcased future products that will be manufactured upon completion of initial experiments. Lectures also answered the audience’s inquiries about issues related to the workshop.
