Western region police to launch Ramadan championship
Western Region Police Directorate is organizing the Ramadan Sport Championship which will kick off next Sunday with the participation of teams representing the sections of the directorate and those of the companies operating in the area.
The participating teams will be competing in football, volleyball, rope pulling and tennis as well as cultural and heritage contests, noted Brigadier Hamad bin Terais Al Dhaheri, director of the Western Region Police.
“Everyone may participate in the events to share experience and develop skills, added Al Dhaheri. He affirmed keenness of the directorate in fostering internal and external communication and availing seasons and occasions to launch initiatives which aim to promote partnerships.
