The Western Region Police Directorate concluded its participation in the Tel Moriab Festival and awareness-raising activities associated with the race, which has strengthened communication with visitors to the festival.
Brigadier General Saeed Hamad bin Terais Al Dhaheri, Director of the Western Region Police Directorate has stressed that participation in these events and other activities reflect the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ in promoting the concept of safety for all, and gaining the confidence of the public in the police organs and their services.
Al Dhaheri praised the collaboration of the concerned teams and also lauded the members of the public for their response which contributed to the consolidation of the concept of security and safety among those interested in motorcycles and camping events which attracts both local and foreign audience who seeks to explore the UAE desert and nature of the scenery through this season of the year.
He cited the keenness of the Directorate to intensify police patrols by participating in the festival which reinforces the commitment to the system and law, and provides maximum safety and security at the venue, as well as ensuring mobile workshop and assistance to the public when necessary.
He drew attention to the awareness role played by the Western Police in terms of establishing direct communication with the members of the public and enlightening them with the services.
At the end of the tournament, gifts and memento shields have been presented to the participants.
