The Ministry of Interior Discusses Methods to Accomplish the Quality Project

The Strategy and Performance Development Directorate General of the General Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior discussed the quality project in the Ministry of Interior and ways to provide the support needed to accomplish it. Activating the role of human resources through rehabilitation, and making quality and the excellence culture a part of employee performance was also discussed.

Colonel Muhammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dahiri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General, the General Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and VP of the Comprehensive Quality Commission in the Ministry of Interior, headed the meeting.

The meeting covered many important points such as emphasizing the continuous implementation of global best practices and methods that aim to develop police performance in addition to deploying further efforts to achieve the priorities and strategic initiatives of the Ministry of Interior.

It also presented the Ministry of Interior’s rehabilitation project's outputs of the ISO 2008:9001 and established a method to ensure that all functional levels receive the quality culture along with organizing the quality team’s leadership, which seeks to achieve the strategic goals and their integration with the entire system. The meeting addressed other relevant subjects as well.

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Matar Al Seraidi, Head of Quality Department; Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, Director of Project Management Office; and a number of officers from the commission were present at the meeting.
