Sniper spots 451 vehicles exceeding speed limit
The traffic campaign implemented by Al Ain Traffic Section since the mid of March has resulted in spotting 451 vehicles exceeding speed limit on internal and external roads of Al Ain City, by use of the new radar (Al Qanass) "Sniper".
Lt. Colonel Hamad Nasser Al Blushi, Head of Al Ain Traffic Section said "The campaign will continue until the behaviors of reckless drivers are curbed. Reckless driving is one of traffic accidents causes. Most times they lead to deaths and severe injuries. Awareness programmes are being continued within the 26th GCC Traffic Week framework under the slogan "Beware Others Mistakes", to ensure traffic safety and to protect people against traffic accidents and the resulting fatalities and injuries".
Lt. Colonel Al Blushi urges motorists to comply with traffic rules and regulations, speed limits. Traffic Patrols will continue their routine work to book offenders.
