Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior received the Intellectual Property Certificate for the Minister of Interior Excellence Award system. The Certificate is issued by the Ministry of Economy.
The certificate delivery ceremony held at his office was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, head of the Award team; Brigadier General Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development in the Secretariat of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Colonel Saud Al Sa’edi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Interior; and Major Abdul Rahman Ali Al Mansouri, Director of Corporate Excellence in Ministry of Interior, Secretary of the Minister of Interior Excellence Award.
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Interior’s Award System includes two categories, the first one is for the headquarters, sectors and Ministry’s personnel and the second one is external for institutions and community members. The system also includes more than 60 awards reviewed periodically.
The Award’s first edition was launched in 2010, and contributed significantly to spread the concepts of quality, strategy and excellence among organizational units and individuals. The second edition was launched in 2012 and will continue until next June.
