As part of the International Volunteer Day celebrations, a delegation from the Relations and Guidance Section at the Police College visited the “Hifz Al Ni’am” Center in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by a number of students from the College.
The visit is in pursuance of the Police College’s strategic plan aimed at enhancing external relations with governmental entities and institutions that serve community members. It also reflects the police’s continuous efforts and keenness to deliver distinguished services to members of the public.
Upon arrival, the Police College delegation met with Sultan Mohammed Al Shehhi, “Hifz Al Ni’am” Project Manager at the UAE Red Crescent. Al Shehhi briefed the delegation on the key actions and activities carried out by the “Hifz Al Ni’am” Center, notably sorting and distribution donations that include food, clothes and other donations to eligible families. The delegation also toured the Center’s facilities, and reviewed the sorting process for products to be donated to poor and needy families.
Major Mohammed Butti Al Shamesi, Chief of Relations and Guidance Section, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Center’s officials. He conveyed the Police College Director’s greetings and his wishes of success in their efforts for the service of the country, in terms of charitable work and assistance for the needy. At the end of the visit, Major Al Shamesi presented the Police College’s Merit Shield to Sultan Al Shehhi, “Hifz Al Ni’am” Project Manager.
