Police College Celebrates Graduation of Male and Female University Batches
The Police College hosted the graduation of the 25th batch of male university technicians and the 9th batch of female university technicians. A total of 96 university students attended the five-month courses, which included theoretical and practical applications and topics aimed at increasing their police and legal potentials and skills. The courses were presented by a number of highly qualified and specialized lecturers and trainers with extensive experience in the various police disciplines.
In his speech at the ceremony, Colonel Saif Ali Al Ketbi, Police College Director, reiterated the Ministry of Interior's keenness to develop the skills and competencies of its human staff as per the training plan, which keeps pace with current developments. The plan embodies the directions of Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters constantly upgrade the training system by honing officers’ skills and raising their scientific and practical efficiency to enable them to perform their duties to the best of their abilities, and enhance social security and safety.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Saif Ali Al Kutbi distributed certificates to the graduates and took commemorative pictures with them. The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ahmed Al Khuzaimi,, Acting Director of the Officers’ Training Institute, as well as heads of departments and chiefs of sections, and a number of officers from the Police College.
