The Police College celebrated on Thursday, the graduation of 12 officers from different sectors at the Ministry of Interior, after completing a specialized coaching course on “innovation and creativity skills development at work”. The course was organized by the Officers Training Institute.

The ceremony was attended by Colonel Saif Al Kutbi, Police College Director; Lieutenant Colonel Salem Nassib Al Shamesi, Acting Director of the Officers’ Training Institute; along with department heads, chiefs of sections and a number of officers from the Police College.

Colonel Al Kutbi reiterated the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to develop the skills and competencies of its human staff according to the training plan, which keeps pace with current developments. The plan embodies the police leadership’s keenness to constantly upgrade the training system by honing officers’ skills and raising their scientific and practical efficiency to enable them to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.

For his part, the Acting Director of the Officers’ Training Institute indicated that such courses aim at developing the knowledge and abilities of the participants about mental planning and preparation; unleashing individual and collective creativity; as well as elaborating ways to turn these ideas into creative projects.

At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Saif Al Kutbi, accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Salem Nassib Al Shamesi, handed over certificates to the graduates, and took commemorative pictures with them.
