Captain Khamees Sultan Ateeq Al Muhairi, the Police Attaché at the UAE Embassy in the Paris, France, obtained a PhD in Private International Law from Université Paris-1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He achieved an Excellence degree with honors, as well as receiving good comments from the committee members.
His thesis was titled: “International Trade Law:An Exhaustive Study of Knowledge Transfer Law and Franchise Contracts.”
The thesis was discussed under the supervision of the head of jury, Judge Frédéric-Jérôme Pansier, Professor at Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1) and Judge George Khairallah Professor at Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2) in participation with Prof. Marius Chingu, Lecturer at Rams University and Prof. Philippe Delpique from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1).
The thesis focused on knowledge transfer and franchise contract within international trade law.
The jury members praised the efforts of the researcher who is an Abu Dhabi Police member. His letter gains a high practical value in this field, as this topic has not been addressed before.
