Peripheral Areas Police launches 3rd Ramadan Championship
Under the patronage of Colonel Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, director of the Peripheral Areas Police Directorate, the 3rd Ramadan Football Championship has kicked off.
The playground of Al Rahba police station will be hosting the event.
Four games were played in the opening day. The Capital Police team beat the Correctional Facilities team by 2-0; while Bani Yass police station team scored a 2-0 win over the Crime Scene team. The Vehicles Licensing Department team defeated the Abu Dhabi Media company team by 1-0. The National Center for Documents and Research secured a 2-1 win over Al Rahba police station team.
The opening ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel Ahmed Saif Al Muhairi, deputy director of the Peripheral Areas Police Directorate and Lt. Colonel Jumaa Obeid Al Rashedi, director of Al Rahba Police station and head of the Championship’s organizing committee.
