Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Acting Director General of Abu Dhabi Civil Defense, attended the graduation ceremony of individuals from three courses specialized in civil defense that include: the first elementary course, the first refresher course for officers, and the first refresher course for non-commissioned officers, individuals, and field workers of the personnel of the Civil Defense General Department in Abu Dhabi.
The graduates received scientific and practical training on how to act during accidents, as well as the best modern means to fight all types of fires.
Colonel Al Nuaimi emphasized on the importance of these courses to raise the performance level of field workers as this strengthens their capacities in acting both appropriately and rapidly when responding to accidents.
He also said that these courses are a foundation to augment and maintain the physical fitness of civil defense personnel, whether in the field of rescue or firefighting.
Captain Mohammed Moussa Hareb, Director of Training and the Performance Evaluation Division at the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense General Department and Direct Supervisor of implementing the training plan, gave a speech in which he praised the remarkable levels attained by the graduates in the academy at the hands of the most specialized trainers in the field of defense.
At the end of the ceremony, certificates were given to the graduates.
