Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police represented by Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Section, launched a number of community initiative for Abu Dhabi Police. The initiatives aim to spread awareness and traffic education, give the society the lead in this regard and entitle the society to take up the responsibilities related to traffic safety.
Major Salah Abdullah Al Muhairi, Chief of the Traffic and Patrols Section in Al Ain said that the GCC Traffic Week 2013 in Al Ain included a number of awareness and education initiatives that shed light on traffic education and awareness covering the past years. They included four initiatives with different titles that will be implemented during the week.
Major Jaber Muhammad Al Qasimi, Support Services Branch Manager, inaugurated the activities in Al Ain Mall under the title “Your Safety is Our Goal” with an initiative bearing the title “the Best Family” in terms of traffic. The initiative includes encouraging drivers to maintain a violation free traffic record.
In the Excellence School (Al Tamayoz) in Al Ain, another initiative titled “the Best School” in terms of traffic was also launched in the presence of Major Muhammad Saif Al Khaili, Acting Manager of Traffic Control, and Director of the School, alongside a number of teachers and administrative who were also present.
“The Best Young Driver” in terms of traffic initiative was launched in Al Ain Technology Colleges targeting the students of the colleges. The final initiative titled “The Best Labor Camp” in terms of traffic was also launched in the Labor Camps complex.
