Organized by the Medical Services Administration, the fourth Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Meeting began yesterday " Saturday" at The Fairmont Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of over 100 doctors from the UAE and abroad.
Director of Medical Services Administration, Brigadier Salim Salih Al Junaibi, said the meeting stresses the high profile of the courses and the conferences organized by the Administration in order to be a global training center. They are instructed by High Caliber Faculty of international experts representing different medical schools, he added.
The courses organized by the Administration in the use of musculoskeletal diagnostic Ultrasound are recognized by the European Society of Radiology (ESR). They help accruing points to get Musculoskeletal Ultrasound training diploma, said Major Dr. Ayman Jema'an, head of medical services section in Al Ain.
Points to obtain the said diploma could be accrued by attending particular courses pointed out Dr. Ayman Fahim, the course supervisor. Top international universalities such as Oxford and Manchester offer such courses. This indicates that the level of courses organized by the medical services administration is as similar as the level of courses offered by such reputed universities, he added.
