Motorists asked to slow down during rain – Al Ain raffic Police

Lt. Colonel Hammad Nasser Al Blushi, Head of Traffic Section at Al Ain Police Directorate has warned drivers against bad weather which the country witnesses now and urged them to drive at low speeds and to adhere to speed limits especially during rain fall. He also urged them to comply with traffic rules and regulations to avoid road surprises due to poor visibility.

Motorists must leave adequate safe distance between their vehicles as tires may skid on wet roads if brakes are applied suddenly. Drivers must take utmost care when driving through tunnels due to rain water pools.

Al Blushi said that Al Ain Traffic Section has intensified its traffic patrols in preparation for any emergencies and  to enhance traffic safety of road users in the Al Ain City.
