The Ministry of Interior hosted the Interpol seminar for the development of police training at the National Central Bureaus in the Middle East and North Africa, at the headquarters of the Federal Police School in Sharjah, in cooperation with Interpol.
The event will continue until 23 of this month.
Brigadier Ali Abdul Aziz bin Darwish, General Director , Human Resources at the Ministry of the Interior welcomed the course participants who included police officers from the UAE and a number of Arab and foreign countries.
He wished them success and benefit from the theoretical and practical applications and scientific content.
Holding such courses with the participation of many countries help enhance the international efforts against all forms of crime, boost exchange of expertise and promote communication among participants, noted Bin Darwish.
The course focuses on many topics, including a presentation on the Interpol's history, objectives, priorities, tasks and efforts, as well as issues on the international police cooperation, planning, strategic analysis and sharpening of training skills.
