MoI Committee follows up child jockeys projects in Sudan
A delegation from the Ministry of Interior, headed by Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Minhali, MoI Assistant Undersecretary for naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs and Chairman of the Committee for Following-up the Compensation Programme, left for Sudan on Monday.
The visit comes in response to the directives of our Higher Leadership to review the projects adopted by the UAE to rehabilitate and integrate Sudanese child jockeys in collaboration with UNISEF Organization, in Khartoum, Port Sudan, Kassala and Qadharif Cities.
Al Minhali affirmed that the UAE dealt with the child jockey in a humanitarian way, supported or child protection projects and carried out all its commitments towards these projects together with UNISEF Organization.
