Ministry of Interior organizes investigation training course
The Cases Affairs Department affiliated to the Secretariat -General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior organized a workshop, in collaboration with the Police College, on the procedures of evidence gathering process and investigation.
The workshop was specially designed for CID personnel at Al Ain Police.
According to Dr. Rifaat Rishwan, criminal law professor at the Police College, the three-week training course aims to provide participants with the rules of Federal criminal procedures concerning the control and evidence gathering actions, and the modern judicial trend in the country.
The workshop tackled two main themes, in the first one, the theatrical academic theme, the lecturer focused on the pillars of different crimes in light of the Federal penal law, with some applications from the latest judgments made by the Supreme Court and the Court of Cassation in Abu Dhabi.
While the second theme discusses the latest legal methods in crimes investigation with some practical applications for already investigated cases, whether locally or internationally, to avoid procedural faults at the stage of preliminary investigation
