The Expert Coordinating Committee of the Operations Room at the Ministry of Interior discussed the Response Initiative and the storm system draft, in addition to a number of topics on the agenda.
The committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Colonel Majid Salem Al Nuaimi, Head of Operations Department at the Ajman Police General Headquarters, at the Conference Hall at the Traffic and Patrols Department in Ajman. The conference was attended by members of the department and the Coordinating Committee secretary along with strategic experts at the Ministry of Interior.
The meeting is part of the strategy to manage and assess committees and work teams, and aims to meet the goal of ensuring readiness within the strategic plan of the Ministry of Interior.
The meeting tackled the recommendations of a forum recently held regarding the response within police work. The recommendations included assigning a committee to gather statistics and formulate collaborative efforts related to response, in addition to providing the Strategy and Performance Development Department with the results. The recommendations further stipulated the need to review issues related to ambulance and rescue operations.
At the end of the meeting, Colonel Majid Salem Al Nuaimi, the committee chairman, extended his gratitude to the attendees for their considerable efforts, their prominent role, and the significant progress they achieved in the committee’s work, in order to carry on the sustainable excellence of the Ministry of Interior.
