Immigration sections gear up for hajj Season
Immigration units at all UAE airports and border posts are well prepared to process thousands of Muslim Pilgrims travel documents to Mecca.
Last year 24 thousand transactions had been processed. This year the number is expected reach 30 thousand.
According to Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization and Residency Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, all Passport Sections in UAE have completed their preparations to receive the pilgrims.
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Deputy prime Minister and Minister of Interior has directed that all necessary facilities are to be provided for this task. Al Minhali has urged travelers to ensure that all necessary documents are complete and valid and wished them a safe journey to and fro the Holly Mecca.
