His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, ordered the dispatch of a private medical aircraft carrying officers from the Ministry of the Interior and a medical staff from the Health Authority to transfer four Nationals and two Yemeni citizens who were injured in two separate rollover accidents within the Sultanate of Oman, to undergo treatment in the state.

According to a statement released by the Ministry of Interior, two separate rollover accidents took place on Thursday in the state of Thumrait in the Sultanate of Oman. In the first incident, one National civilian was seriously injured, while three others sustained minor injuries. In the second incident, two Yemeni citizens sustained severe injuries, while their companion, a UAE national did not suffer any injuries.

According to the Ministry of Interior’s statement, the injured were transferred to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, and investigations are still underway to determine the causes of the accidents.

His Highness, President of the UAE had ordered on Monday the dispatch of two private aircrafts to bring back the corpses of seven UAE nationals from the same family, who died in a traffic accident in the Meggesil area in Salalah, in the Sultanate of Oman, and to transfer the wife who had sustained serious injuries, to receive the required medical treatment in the UAE.
