The Police College  celebrated the graduation of 37 police officers from different sectors of  the Ministry of Interior, after completing three  specialized  courses at the Officers Training Institute, namely;  the “Skills of special service” course;  the “Contingency  planning” course;  and the “Investigation and Interrogation methods” course. 

H.E. Colonel Saif Al Al Kutobi, Police College Director, and Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Khuzaimi, Director of the Officer Training Institute, attended the celebration which was held in the Union Hall at the Police College. Also attending were   Department directors, heads of sections, and officers from the College and the Training Institute.

In his speech, Colonel Al Kutobi stressed the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to develop its human cadre   as per the training plan that follows current developments and embody the Police Leadership’s directives to improve the training system, and hone the skills of its officers.

He noted that these courses aim to increase the knowledge, competencies and skills of participants on the means to provide distinguished services to customers. They also aim to develop the knowledge and skills of participants on rescue and evacuation operations; dealing with disasters, crises and incidents; as well as train participants on criminal investigation and efficient interrogation means.

At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Kutobi and Dr. Al Khuzaimi distributed the certificates to the graduates.
