The Police College celebrated the graduation of officers from two specialized training courses: the Modern Secretarial and Office Management course and the Body Language course. The one-week courses were organized by the Police Officers Training Institute and attended by 42 officers from various directorate generals at the Ministry of Interior and Police GHQs in the State.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Colonel Saif Ali Al Kutbi, Police College Director, underscored the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to promotethe efficiency of national human cadres in the Ministry, and develop their abilities to improve police performance byenrolling them in specialized training courses. Developing national cadres falls within the Police Leadership’s directives to augment police work.
The Modern Secretarial and Office Management course developsthe knowledge, abilities, and skills of the participants about modern office management. Furthermore, the Body Language course focuses on developing communication skills with others to understand their intentions, interpret their behavior, control situations, study personalities, anticipate reactions, and extract information serving the investigation and supporting the results of verbal communication.
At the end of the graduation ceremony, Colonel Saif Ali Al Kutbiawarded certificates to the graduates and wished them success.
The ceremony was attended by directors of departments and heads of sections, as well as a number of officers from the Police College and the Training Institute.
