A delegation of German Police viewed the training procedures at the Abu Dhabi Police Security Inspection Department; the Q9.

Colonel Jamal Habash, Director of the Security Inspection Department, met with the delegation headed by Bart Fritz, Police Chief of the Stuttgart District in Germany. Both parties discussed the implementation of the second part of the agreement signed between the Abu Dhabi Police and the German Police, regarding training police dog trainers in different security fields.

Colonel Habash stated that the agreement was signed in 2009 and covers three training levels; noting that level one was achieved with the graduation of the first batch. He pointed out that the German delegation’s visit comes in line with evaluating the graduated trainers’ work, and tracking the implementation of the agreement.

The delegation toured the Security Inspection Department, met with trainers, viewed inspection procedures, and visited the dog pound and vet clinic. The visit also covered the Security Inspection Divisions in Abu Dhabi, as well as the branches and units of police dogs of the Borders and the Ministry of Interior Village in Ajman.

The German delegation included Director of Police College and Police Dogs Training Center, Peter Krobmann and George Nester, Director of German Police Dogs Department, as well as the Training Director at the Institute, Daniel Syatz.
