The General Directorate of Residence and Foreigner Affairs in Abu Dhabi (GDRFA), called on violators of the Residency Law to immediately settle their presence in the country and to abide by laws and regulations to avoid facing prosecution.

Colonel Said Salem Salmeen Al Chamsy, Director General of the Residence and Foreigner Affairs department in Abu Dhabi, urged citizens and residents to cooperate with relevant authorities and report any violator to contribute to the eradication of violators to this law.

He said that the campaign launched by the Ministry of Interior under the slogan "No to Violators" aims to increase the public's awareness on the gravity of the issue, and the resulting damage if those violators were to be employed, and the crimes they would commit. He added that the campaign is consistent with the strategy of the Ministry of Interior to preserve security and safety and enhance the community's support in realizing those achievements.

He pointed out the efforts exerted by the administration through the Directorate of Follow-Up of Violators and Foreigners Affairs to curb the issue, and arrest illegal workers such as those who left their sponsors and home helpers working for others. By searching homes, facilities, companies, and stores with the cooperation of municipalities, the Ministry of Labor aims to prosecute and arrest violators of the Law of Entry and Residence of expatriates, and take legal action against them.
