Dutch Embassy and ADP Community Service Department discuss cooperation

Gerard Michels, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the UAE met with a delegation from the Community Service Department of Abu Dhabi Police affiliated to the Secretariat- General of the Office of Deputy Prime Minster and Ministry of Interior, at the ambassador’s residence in Abu Dhabi.

The delegation was headed by Lt Colonel Saif Obeid Al Obaidly, director of the department.

The two sides discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and coordination in issues of common interest, and exchange of field visits to get acquainted with the best practices. 

Dutch Ambassador lauded the strong relation that ties Netherlands with the UAE, indicating that his country hold annual training courses where a number of concerned agencies at the international level take part. The best practices and modern technologies used in police work are covered in such courses.

Present were Lt Colonel Suleiman Al Dir’e, deputy director of Community Service Department, Lt Ahmed Al Shehhi, head of public relations at the department, Mario Biting, Attaché at the Dutch Embassy to UAE, Holger Farnong, liaison officer at Federal German Police.
