A delegation from the Dubai Police, represented by the Directorate General of Traffic was briefed on the functions and systems used by the Protocol and Tasks Department at the Directorate General of Traffic and Patrols in Abu Dhabi Police.
Colonel Hamad Mubarak bin Atheith Al Ameri, Director of the Capital Traffic Department at the ADP Traffic and Patrols Directorate General met the delegation headed by Major Ahmed Ateeq Al Kutbi, Director of the Department and including a number of officers from Dubai Traffic Department. During the meeting, Colonel Al Ameri underscored the importance of exchanging visits between the traffic departments in the country, so as to review the applicable traffic regulations and leverage the experience gained, with a view to improve work as per the best advanced practices and criteria.
Furthermore, the Dubai Events Department delegation met with Major Ateeq Ibrahim Al Qubaisi, Director of Protocol and Processions; Major Abdul Salam Al Shehi, Director of Events and Tasks. The visiting delegation was briefed on the Protocol Department’s organizational structure, work mechanisms, and the various tasks and development efforts witnessed by the department by adopting intelligent traffic systems.
The delegation members listened to a presentation on the development plans aimed to rehabilitate human cadres, and the smart systems used in the field of Protocol and tasks. They were also briefed on the field efforts exerted by the Protocol Department during national and official celebrations.
