A delegation from the Decision-Making Support Center of Abu Dhabi Police got acquainted with the best practices implemented at the Abu Dhabi Statistics Centre, as well as the nature of the statistical database system that the Centre is establishing in the Abu Dhabi.

The delegation, headed by Major Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Kaabi, Director of the Decision-Making Support Centre, visited the Statistics Centre, and reviewed its technical aspects, as well as the Geographic Information Systems and how they contribute to support decision-making. The two parties discussed means to promote and develop mutual cooperation, so as to serve both sides.

Major Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Kaabi stated that the visit comes in line with the Center’s strategy to enhance mutual cooperation with state institutions in order to better serve the community, by acquainting it with the Decision-Making Center, and opening channels of communication through joint activities and studies. Other goals include discussing cooperation in the field of statistical data to support research and studies conducted by the Center.

For his part, Mohammed Abdullah Al Harmoudi, Director of the Statistical Training Institute at the Statistics Center, who welcomed the delegation, stressed the importance of establishing relationship between the Center and Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters; pointing out that the Statistics Center’s priorities include developing relations of cooperation and integration between the Center and all government agencies.
