Colonel Mohammad Suhail Al Rashidi, Deputy Director of Al Ain Police Directorate, attended on Thursday, the closing ceremony of the “Police Friends” program for the Abu Dhabi Police officers’ sons and daughters. The program was attended by 76 students from different school stages, and was organized by Al Ain Police Officers Club of the Police Clubs Department at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. The events were held from March 31st to April 11th 2013.

Colonel Hareb Khamis Al Khaili, Director of Al Ain Police Officers Club underscored the importance of the program to fill the children’s leisure time with various purposeful educational programs and to discover their talents. Moreover, the program aims to promote the spirit of cooperation and to provide students with the necessary information and expertise to become effective elements in their society.

Colonel Al Khaili expressed his thanks and gratitude to all participating Police entities that contributed to the success of the program. These entities include the Public Relations Department in Al Ain Police Directorate; the Emergency and Public Safety Department; the Traffic Institute; and the Security Inspection Department (K-9). Furthermore Colonel Al Khaili conveyed his appreciation to the social organizations in Al Ain City represented by the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs; the Emirates Dog Breeders Society; the National Program for Animal Welfare; Al Bida’a Resort; and The Warrior Rent A  Computer company. .

At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Rashidi honored the entities and students participating in the Program.
