The Media and Public Relations Section at the Directorate General of Resources and Support Services at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector, organized a blood drive, in collaboration with the Health Education Branch at the Medical Services Department and the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank (ADBB) at the Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD).

The drive witnessed significant turnout from officers, non-commissioned officers, constables and civilians working at the sector. The drive was inaugurated with a blood donation from Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashedi, Head of Naturalization Department.

It also falls in line with the sector’s efforts to support humanitarian activities organized by various organizations. Moreover, the drive highlights the sector’s keenness to promote public participation, demonstrate its positive roles, and promote health education among its staff members and community, highlighting the many benefits of blood donation.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Taleb Abdul Karim Al Mahmoud, Chief of the Media and Public Relations Section, emphasized the importance of these humanitarian initiatives and the role they play in instilling human values and promoting the concept of social solidarity. “The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector organizes blood drives throughout the year, in collaboration with the Blood Bank, which in turn seeks to support this humanitarian work throughout the year,” concluded Lieutenant Colonel Al Mahmoud.
