Belgium Embassy lauds the good treatment of Belgian inmates
Brigadier Yusuf Abdul Kareem, Director of ADP Corrective and Punitive Establishments Department has received HE Anik Van Calister, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the UAE. The visit was part of the Department keenness to coordinate with different diplomatic missions and to acquaint them with the circumstances and conditions of their subjects who serve terms of imprisonment.
The Ambassador was briefed on the programmes and services of the Department to inmates, methods of dealing with them and service facilities available there.
She reviewed the Belgian subjects' needs and requirements. She expressed her admiration for the good treatment of inmates. HE the Ambassador thanked the Establishment Officials for their efforts.
