Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs paid an inspection visit on Friday morning to the Passports Section of Al Ghwaifat borders exit check point where he was received by Lt Colonel Ghanem Al Mazrouei head of Al Ghwaifat passports section.

The visit emphasizes the ministry of interior’s keenness to provide all the requirements needed to serve all travelers especially pilgrims to Mecca. It also meant to learn about the workflow and its obstacles.
 
Al Menhali toured the tents dedicated to serving the pilgrims and learned about the preparations made to receive pilgrims including travel procedures and the time spent to get them finalized.

He urged the employees to exerting more efforts and providing all facilities to those traveling through the exit check point, calling upon them to promote cooperation and coordination with the different agencies at the exit.

He listened to a brief presentation by Al Mazrouei on the preparations provided by the police station, customs section and health authority, noting that a clinic and a fully-equipped ambulance have been provided to receive emergency cases.
