As many as 2062 school students of various stages have benefited from the 4-week traffic awareness program conducted by the public relations branch affiliated with the Al Ain’s Traffic Section.
The lectures targeted school bus drivers and attendants to ensure school students safety and educate them about the safe getting on and off buses, said Major Mohsen Al Mansouri, acting head of traffic section.
Traffic awareness competitions have been organized said First Lit Hamdan bin Dheban, head of public relations, noting that the lectures continued regularly throughout the month.
He urged road users to obey the instructions issued by traffic police personnel on different sites, for their safety and that of others.
