Al Ain Traffic spots 1063 vehicles exceeding speed limit in a week
Al Ain Traffic Section has spotted 1063 vehicles which have exceeded speed limit on internal and external roads in Al Ain City over one week by use of mobile radar Al Qanas (Sniper), through ordinary and under cover patrol cars. This step is part of the campaign launched by the Section to spot speeding drivers.
Lt. Colonel Hamad Nasser Al Blushi, Head of the Section said “The aim of the campaign is to spot traffic rule violators and reckless driver who drive their vehicles with high speeds on city roads.
He urges motorists to adhere to speed limits by themselves and for fear of being booked They should observe traffic rules on all roads to save their and others lives. The campaign will continue on different city roads and streets. Offenders will be booked in presence by traffic police elements.
