Ajman Residency and Foreigners Affairs General Directorate Urges Citizens to Report Violators

Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Alwan, Director General Of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman, urged citizens and residents not to hesitate and report violators of the Law of Residence by calling, any time, the "Sahim" service toll free number (80080).

He noted that the awareness campaign launched by the Ministry of Interior under the slogan "No to Violators" aimed at reducing the number of violators of the Law of Entry and Residence of Foreigners proves the importance of the community's role in supporting efforts to combat this phenomenon which reflects negatively on the community.

He emphasized the need for concerted efforts in order to deter violators, whose behavior involves a violation of the Law; pointing out that security is a social responsibility. He added that community members are required to play a vital role to address the phenomenon of illegal residence, by reporting the whereabouts of violators on the "Sahim" service toll free number (80080), 24/7.

Alwan concluded by saying that the Ajman Residency and Foreigners Affairs General Directorate is exerting diligent efforts in the Emirate to address the phenomenon of the Law of Residence violators, by mobilizing  a number of its members to pursue and arrest offenders, and take the necessary measures against them, in accordance with the provisions of the Law. He noted that the Directorate is acting with resolve and determination as per a clear strategy to put an end to this phenomenon and alleviate its negative effects on the community.
