Abu Dhabi Police discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise with its counterpart at the Fujairah International Airport in a visit recently paid by a delegation from the Ports and Airports Security Department to the Al Fujairah international airport.
The delegation is headed by Colonel Khamis Musabbah Al Marar, Acting Director General of Ports and Airports Security Department of Abu Dhabi Police.
The visit aims mainly to implement a number of initiatives on the regulatory procedures in Fujairah Airport; following the strategy of the Ministry of Interior.
During the meeting, the delegation discussed with Mohammed Al Salami, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation in Fujairah, and Dr. Khalid Al Mazrouei, General Director of the airport, the steps of implementing the initiatives and the volume of work that is accomplished so far.
The visiting delegation also met with Colonel Hamid Khamis Al Yammahi, director of ports and airports security department of Fujairah Police, and Major Jamal Al Naqbi, Head of Security Police at Fujairah Airport; and discussed with them a number of issues pertaining to the visit.
Colonel Al Marar stressed the importance of such meetings that help reinforce cooperation and exchange of expertise, praising the response and mechanisms of coordination as far as the objectives of the visit is concerned.
The delegation is made up of Major Saad Al Ahbabi, Eng. Mansour Al Junaibi of Ports and Airports Security Department in Abu Dhabi Police.
