Under the “Messages in Community Love” Campaign, the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ will deliver tomorrow, through Emirat FM and Abu Dhabi FM, a message to encourage parents to intensify traffic safety among their private drivers and monitor their driving habits to avoid accidents.
Luluah Mohammed Al Mulla, a student at Al Reem School, will voice over a message that will call on parents to ensure their family’s private drivers comply with traffic rules to safeguard their children and the family.
Al Reem School is participating in the campaign with another message voiced over by another student, Sheikha Al Shamesi, to be aired later.
First Lieutenant Hamdan Al Dir’e, Director of Radio Branch, Security Media Department, said that Abu Dhabi Police has given students under 10 years of age the chance to participate in addressing parents on safe driving.
Listening to the awareness messages voiced by the youth has an emotional impact on parents and make them more observing to traffic rules while driving, pointed out Al Dir’e.
