Abu Dhabi Police discussed mutual cooperation in the field of training with a delegation from the Belarusian Embassy in the UAE.
 
Colonel Thani Bati Al Shamsi, Director, Training Department in Abu Dhabi Police, met a delegation from the Embassy of Belarus that included Colonel Andy Kitaev, Military Attaché in the Embassy, and Igor Bondref, Consultant of the Belarusian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

Colonel Al Shamsi stressed that the training Department is keen to utilize all police training programmes in order to implement the best standards adopted in the world, and to follow up the latest developments in police training field. He considered the visit of the delegation as a beginning for promoting the idea of training cooperation between training departments in Abu Dhabi, and experienced departments in Belarus.

He noted that the visit highlighted cooperation between the two sides related to the Memorandums of Understanding on training services, especially the ones provided by the Belarusian Sports Association (Dynamo).

The two sides discussed providing a number of training programmes of Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters by Belarus in several police specializations.

The meeting was attended by Major Salih Saeed Al Amoudi, Director of International Training Branch.
