The rescue aircraft of the Air Wing Department in Abu Dhabi Police General Directorate transferred an 18-year-old Emirati car accident victim from Al Silah Hospital to Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

A report regarding the car accident was sent by the Central Operations indicating that a  vehicle had flipped in Al Silah area, resulting in an injured person who suffered a broken spinal cord. The Air Wing Rescue Aircraft  took off to Al Silah Hospital, where the medical team gave the injured the required medical care to keep his situation stable as he was transferred to Khalifa Hospital for treatment.

In another mission, the Air Wing Rescue Aircraft transferred a 29-year-old Emirati lady from Ibri Hospital in Oman to Al Ain Government Hospital in Al Ain City, after getting in a car accident resulting in a pelvic fracture and several bruises, which made her medical situation more critical. The medical staff gave her the medical care required to stabilize her situation until she was transferred to the hospital where she continued treatment.

The Air Wing Department warned drivers not to surpass speed limits, and to commit to traffic regulations especially inside the cities, or in case of travel.The department assured that youth are the source of energy of this country, and their souls should be preserved from accidents.
