The Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department, and in cooperation with Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat), opened the doors for registration in the “My Number, My Identity” initiative launched recently by the UAE telecommunications providers.
The Abu Dhabi Police dedicated an office to serve its staff, saving their time and effort, within the General Headquarters in order to facilitate the registration process for all employees.
Additionally, numerous staff registered to confirm their information at Etisalat by using their Emirates ID and completing their registration process within minutes.
Colonel Muhammed Al Zaabi, Vice Director of the ICT Department at the Abu Dhabi Police, valued the cooperation of Etisalat who deployed a number of its staff to the Headquarters to ensure the quick and seamless process.
Al Zaabi explained that Etisalat is one of the strategic partners of Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, and has made significant contributions to provide the latest telecommunication means and the required networking infrastructure to the Abu Dhabi Police.
