The Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Community Police, Khalifa Police Center, and a number of school students participated in the event of the Community Services Division at Abu Dhabi Municipality, in collaboration with Al Shahama Municipality to raise public awareness on the damages caused by graffiti.
The event, which was held in the new Al Shahama Garden, included several nationally-focused awareness skits, where school students and society members from that area participated. The event started at 5 pm with a full audience.
The students presented some cultural and entertaining skits that won the audience’s admiration. The audiences expressed their excitement due the valuable awareness information introduced to them regarding the damage caused by graffiti, and the uncivilized appearance it creates.
Jassem Obeid, a prominent media figure also took part in the event presenting several segments through a Teddy Bear character that delighted children present at the event.
The event was attended by Captain Abdullah Al Harethi, Head of Community Police in Peripheral Areas; Mohammed Al Mansouri, Director of Al Shahama Municipality; a group of participants partaking in the initiatives; and a large audience made up of people from the area.
