Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, awarded a number of the Department’s officers with their new ranks, along with first class medals of appreciation to the eligible members, in recognition of their excellence in academic qualifications.
Major General Badran stated that promoting these officers and awarding them with their new ranks represents an incentive for them to achieve further excellence in their fields, so as to improve the quality of services provided by Abu Dhabi Police to citizens, residents and visitors alike. This also embodies the vision of the higher leadership, which has created all necessary requirements to raise and develop the efficiency of police members, according to the highest international standards of qualification and training.
He added that the promoted officers who excelled in academic qualifications were awarded first class medals of appreciation, for the efforts they exerted in acquiring these qualifications, emphasizing the Police commandment’s keenness to provide all forms of care and support for Abu Dhabi Police members in order to help them pursue higher education.
Concluding, Major General Badran urged the promoted and honored officers to pursue further excellence and efforts, in order to improve performance; to take advantage of innovations and developments in all areas that serve them in their line of work and aim to develop their abilities.
The ceremony was attended by Colonel Arif Saif Al-Shamsi, Director of Sports Clubs at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.
