Colonel Dr. Saif Bu Dhafeera Al Amri, Director General of Security and Ports Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police attended the graduation ceremony of two specialized courses, including a course on “Qualifying police dogs handlers”. The two courses were held at the Security Inspection Department “K9”.
During the graduation ceremony, attended by Colonel Jamal Habash, Director of the Department and heads of departments, Colonel Al Amri stressed the importance of these courses organized by Abu Dhabi Police, to enhance efficiency of employees and acquaint them with the latest knowledge and training methods. Furthermore, he urged the graduates to pursue further scientific and security attainment, either by taking part in the courses provided through the Abu Dhabi Police’s annual training plan, or by exerting personal efforts, which is as important in raising efficiency, and increasing the individual cultural and information attainment. Concluding, Colonel Al Amri congratulated the graduates, wishing them further success in their careers.
For his part, Colonel Jamal Habash, Director of the Security Inspection Department said that a total of 6 participants enrolled in the one-month course on “Qualifying police dogs handlers”. The participants received practical training and lectures on identifying support methods, taking notes during training operations, identifying training strategies; as well as specialized training in dealing with police dogs.
At the end of the ceremony, Colonel Al Ameri distributed the certificates to the graduates of the two courses, wishing them success in their career.
